Green Tea & Enzyme Powder Wash

Wishtrend is one of my favorite Korean beauty on-line retailers. They always have amazing deals, and stock tons of products. They also have their own line of products that are pretty darn good! I reviewed their Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water a while back, and was lucky enough to receive the all new Green Tea and Enzyme Powder Wash to test out and review too.

The Green Tea and Enzyme Powder Wash is a low acid moisturizing cleanser and acts as a refreshing gentle scrub. It’s targeted towards all skin types but is especially good for oily and acne-prone skin.

Here is some info about the new cleanser before I dip into my final thoughts…

·         Adjust the frequency of use according to your skin type.

·         For thin, sensitive skin, we recommend limiting use to 2-3 times a week

·         Do not use along with another skin care products that have exfoliating effects (retinol, high concentration vitamin C, AHA/BHA, etc.)

My Thoughts

Okey, so I despise powder cleansers…well, actually, I use to despise powder cleansers. I’ve tried a few in the past couple months and they seem to have grown on me. This one in particular foams up really nice, and I don’t feel like I’m wasting any product like I do with other powder cleansers.

I have been loving the light green tea scent! It smells natural, and not fragrancy, which is something I think everyone can appreciate. It’s somewhat calming too, and I especially like it in the mornings when I’m trying to wake up!

The powder is a bit more coarse than the other powder cleansers I’ve tried. I’m loving it because it feels like it exfoliates pretty well, and I love exfoliating. It’s gentle enough for everyday use in my opinion, and doesn’t pull or tug at the skin. My skin feels more smooth and even since I started using this cleanser.

I’ve been using it morning and night because I want to really experience what it can do for my skin. I always double cleanse at night if I wore makeup that day, and single cleanse when I wake up in the morning. My skin use to feel a bit tight after I cleansed in the morning, and I’m guessing it’s because my old cleanser was too harsh or was drying. Since I started using the Green Tea Enzyme Powder Wash my skin has felt moisturized in the morning, and I have’t had to add an extra layer of moisturizer before putting my makeup on.

I would highly recommend this product, and plan on purchasing once I run out. I give it two thumbs up!!
